It is idiocy all right,
However this is not restricted to Pakistan, such idiocy abound this side of fence also.I was dismayed to read Swami Aiyar article in which he asserted (snarkly perhaps), the reason that Pandit Nehru opted for Socialism was because as a brahmin he was dismissive of enterpreneurship.
What was more ironical his moronic statement that as Mahatam was a vaisya (baniya)he recognized importance of enterprise. The only good things about Nehruvian model was that it was not Gandhian model.
Oh well! "Har Shakh per ullu baithe hain anzaam-e-gulistan kya hoga "

Interesting not only does the Indian cricket team have a quota for 'Muslims' in general but also for Muslim Captains! Two of them in fact! How interesting? But why blame this moron? There is plenty of such writing in the Indian press as well. S.Anand the Outlook hack is a hardened caste baiter and rarely lets facts stand in his way. I remember reading about our vitorious hockey team in 1973 in Malaysia. On the morning of the final game against Pakistan the coach and the players visited a temple, a mosque, a gurdwara and a church on their way to the stadium.
